Over the course of a week I will be building a sculpture of the Grand Rapids river at the B.O.B in Grand Rapids, MI. The River will be over 40ft long and require 1,200lbs of glass (melted 300lbs per day). It's the biggest project I have undertaken to date.

Check out my new line of architectural lighting products I designed for 100watt Network. The series is called RECLAIM and, of course, is made from 100% post-comsumer glass. Click here to learn more.

Artprize Competition

On Sept. 22-26 I am bringing the furnace to Grand Rapids, MI to build a large glass installation for an art competition called Artprize, the largest art prize in the world.

It is the first year of this competition so as the creators say, '' it is one really big experiment '' This comp is unique because the winner is decided by public vote.

The purpose is to start an interesting conversation between artists and the public. If you can make it to GR to see my work I promise you won't be disappointed.
