Introduction to Glass Blowing- Weekly Studio Class

Weekly classes are held at Jason's private studio near downtown Champaign, IL every Wed 7p-8:30pm and select Sunday afternoons. You can view the schedule and book your class by clicking the 'Schedule Your Class Button'. For groups of 4 or more please contact me for special availability. 

Class length is 1.5hr and appropriate for ages 8 and up. Class size is 4 students. Please don't hesitate to reach out to Jason with any questions or special group class availability for parties of 4 or more at Jason@mackglass.com

Class Description:

Make blown-glass objects using a benchtop torch in the studio of glass artist Jason Mack. You will make and take home 3-5 custom-made pieces of your choice. Options range from pendants, marbles, small sculpture or blown glass ornament or hummingbird feeders. Jason will guide you through your projects while discussing the best types of tools and glass for the craft and necessary safety precautions. Your craftwork will be one-of-a-kind and you’ll be ready to come back for more.

After the introductory class students are welcome to register for multiple sessions to advance their skills. Class sizes are small, allowing individual attention throughout the class. All materials and equipment are included.
